You read it correctly. There is a NEW aluminum block for the Pontiac Enthusiast. Jim Butler Performance has started manufacturing a NEW aluminum block. Only very basic information is available, at least from me. It is 108 pounds lighter than the traditional Pontiac cast iron block which will make it approximately 150 pounds lighter than the IA cast iron block. It will accept all Pontiac bolt on accessories. There are three blocks at this time with one being built for Rodney Butler. The lucky people that will be attending the Pontiac Southern Nationals in Dallas will be able to look and touch it as Jim Butler Performance will have it with them along with the 1965 GTO of Rodney Butler.

For those that have an interest call Jim Butler Performance and get the specifics of the block.

This is truely an exciting product for the Pontiac Enthusiast.

Ron
