Does anyone know of an electric fuel pump that fits into the gas tank for 60s cars? If not does anyone know of a quiet electric fuel pump, or how to make one really quiet?

I don't know of an in-tank style pump for a carburetor application, but the quietest electric pump that I've used is a Mallory Comp Pump. Mount it with rubber isolators and you won't know it's there! With the car off on the pump running, I had to bend down at the rear of the car to hear a slight electric whir.

The best thing to do is go down to your local auto parts store and get an AC Delco stock replacement fuel pump for your make and year vehicle. They are cheap, reliable and more than adequate for most street strip cars. Unless you are running in the 11's or faster there is no reason to run a noisey electrict fuel pump anyhow. Save your money and get your quiet ride the smart way.

I have run that pump before. I works pretty good.
