my dashboard is cracked badly..is there an aftermarket dash kit? ive looked around with no luck. does anyone have an extra laying around?

No there is not. Keep an eye on ebay. There is a group on Yahoo that is for 73-77 GP owners. Join the group and you can find lots of parts. http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/73GP77/
paste the link in yoour browser. I find it very useful. I think someone sells the carpet overlay on ebay all the time for about 22.00 Jerry
