Pour some cheap bleach on the pavement, drive rear tires into the bleach, get camera ready, and light 'em up!

Take some water and wet the pavement, start the burn out in the water, let it sit and eat a minute, put it to the floor and rev some rpm's in 1st gear, then shift to Drive and let it Eat i guarantee they will smoke, that is how i do My BFG TA's The water helps keep down the squeeling, and once it starts smoking they will start hooking a bit then you can work on your hole shots, you just have to sit on them and burn em down a good bit before they smoke.

Pour some cheap bleach, they'll smoke faster and save some tire wear.

I've seen people run a hose from their windsheild washer bottle to the rear tires so that they could fill it with bleach and spray the tires while they where cruising.

Thanks for all the replys, I'm going to try the water and the bleach, will the bleach hurt my new paint? I mean I don't plan on letting it sit on it, but it could be there for a few minutes. Its a 79 Tenth anniversary, with a 200-4r overdrive out of Monte SS. I just put in a set of 4th generation seats out of a new formula, and let me tell you, they are sooo comfortable. It's a 403 with 63000 miles, and I'm looking into doing some up grades, cam, lifters, rockers, and intake, I'd like to not have to bolt my shaker to my hood, so does anyone have any 403 they have hopped up before?

Not customer cars. Whenever the shop would get slow we would find stupid stuff to do. Ever see how big a inner tube gets before it blows? I miss that job. I'm on that like a Hobo on a ham sandwich!

Go to your kitchen and raid the pantry of a spray can of Pam cooking spray.
Spray some on the quarter panels before doing your burnout. The Pam will not hurt the paint and when you're done, just hose it off. Any Pam, bleach, rubber on there will hose right off.
