The machinist who I think I want to port and do a valve job on my heads is strongly recommending Isky or other springs rather than the #995's that I already have.
Anyone else ever heard this or is he just trying to sell me something I don't really need? I think he is being honest about not liking them, but maybe he was just unlucky a couple times and everyone else has them working fine?? (Yes the #995-16 are the ones recommended for the cam I want, matter of fact they are recommended for most all Comp Cams that have higher than stock rpm ranges and up to .550" lift; both hydraulic and solid flat tappets.)
