Has anyone here installed a front lower spoiler for a 77 TA? It's the very large plastic thing that spans the width of the car and 'connects' to the front wheel spoilers.

I have a replacement that I want to put on, but I think I might be missing some parts. How does it actually connect to the car? Does it physically connect to the front wheel spoilers or is it just pushed up against them? There are 4 'bolt holes' in this thing also. Any help would be great!

I have a 78 T/A and I believe the front spoiler attaches the same way as a 77. The plastic tabs in the front slide into slots in the bottom of the front bumper cover. Then the back bolt holes should line up with holes in the core support (use clip nuts to attach to core support). Then there are brackets that connect the side spoilers to the front one. My car was missing these brackets, so I went to Home Depot and bought some metal and made my own, they are really pretty simple to make.

2nd Gen is correct. My 77 front spoiler bolted up the same way. I was also missing the brackets, so I just fabricated some. I think some aftermarket pieces are just supposed to slip together, but with mine, I wanted more of a sturdy hold so I made the brackets.
