Found what I thought was a good deal on a Chevy 12 bolt posi rear, Poped off the 12 bolt cover to find 10 ring bolts. I hear thats an olds rear, 8.5 with highway gears.
Olds gear selection seems just as limited as pontiac or is that just what Richmond offers? Question being, is it worth rebuilding and would it be much stronger than my 8.2 Was hoping to install 373's but could live with 355's Get Turned On

I have one of those and it should be considerably stronger than an 8.2. Reider Racing can hook you up with a posi and 3.90 or 3.42 gears. I have a catalogue somewhere, if you need contact info let me know.
