My GP with the aerocoupe option (2+2)
came with a 305 chevy which I replaced with
a 307 Olds ( I already had it and the 305 was shot) After driving it for a couple of weeks
and comparing it to my 81 GP with a 400 outta a
76 TA. Its not really what I was hoping for.
Not much torque but It gets around 19 mpg with the 2004r.

Does a 403 or Olds 350 bolt to the 307 mounts?
Plus I've got a 67 Pont 400 with a 400 turbo
Has anybody used the old motor mounts
in the 80's G-bodys

Brad, to run a '69 or earlier Pontiac V8 in a G-body, going to need either

-Motor mount adaptor brackets from PY to put early block in latter car OR
-Install the '64-72 326-400 A-body frame brackets & motor mounts.

The pre '70 Pontiac 400 block only has two bolt holes on the side. If block was cast from '70-78, you could use '78-81 301-265 A-body clamshells & motor mounts. Good luck with your Aerocoupe, real nice to see one getting PURE Pontiac motivation!
