When I'm done with my 400 build up it'll put out around 500+ ft-lbs of torque.......orginally I wanted to go with a 200-R4 tranny for the overdrive but now I figure I'll split that thing in half with that kind of power.

So now it's between the Th-400 and Th-350......I know the Th-400 will handle it with a proper build up but my real question is can the Th-350 handle that kind of torque??

And which would be the cost vs. reliablility of each?

Thanks for the help

Any of the trannies you mentioned will live if built right. The TH400 will live with a stock rebuild. The TH350 will live with a few mods. The 2004R will have to be gone through pretty extensively.

Its all up to you and how much $ you want to spend.

Chance favors the prepared mind.
