When I'm done with my 400 build up it'll put out around 500+ ft-lbs of torque.......orginally I wanted to go with a 200-R4 tranny for the overdrive but now I figure I'll split that thing in half with that kind of power.
So now it's between the Th-400 and Th-350......I know the Th-400 will handle it with a proper build up but my real question is can the Th-350 handle that kind of torque?? And which would be the cost vs. reliablility of each? Thanks for the help |

Any of the trannies you mentioned will live if built right. The TH400 will live with a stock rebuild. The TH350 will live with a few mods. The 2004R will have to be gone through pretty extensively.
Its all up to you and how much $ you want to spend. Chance favors the prepared mind. |
