Can anyone tell me what trim rings are to be used for 15 inch rims.My gm parts man gave me 2 different #s he says 1 is early 68 to 72 #9796696 then 2nd is 73 up #10010686 whats the difference? they are going on a 15x7 rim.he says they are still available? so whats the real story?

First off, GTO's came equipped with 14" wheels, so you are not going to find a 15" trim ring that looks like the stock 14" ring originally for that car. There are similar trim rings available from both GM and the aftermarket that will look nice on your car.
