It will depend on the back space. That size wheel is no problem at all if the back spacing is correct. I run a 15 by 8.5 on my '64 GTO. As long as the back space is about 4.00" to 4.75" on your 15x7, it will fit fine.

OOPS! I automatically assumed you meant on the rear. It will work on the front, but your tire can't be too tall or it can hit the outside front fender lip. You will have to get the dimensions of the tire you plan on and check it very carefully.

What kind of wheels? crager ss, weld, etc...
I am looking for some wheels. Want crager ss, but I heard that there is not a lot of choice for backspacing. I want 15 x 8 in rear.

I put 15x7 rallye 1's on my car, and no problems. I believe they were 4" or 4.5" backspacing. BF Goodrich TA Radials, 235 70's on the front and 275 60's on the rear. The front of my car sits higher than stock, but I wanted it that way.

66 & 67 rear diff's were different lengths, don't know about 65 or 64.

All good things are worth waiting for. "Yeah right", I want them now!

Hey Hozy, what size rubber are you running on the 15X8's? Your running 14's on the front. Got any pics? I'd like to see how that looks. Might not be a bad idea since I've got a pair of 14X7 Cragars.

Where did you send it? Why you just post it on this thread and we'll all let know what we think. If not, just go into my member profile and email it to my web address. That'll be fine too!
