I have it also. Works for me. Once installed, when you start it up it always shows the blue window with the install choice. Choose "close" instead to get past that point.

If you keep having probs, email me & I might help walking you thru.

Regards, George

I got it to open! Yippee!
I still feel it take a long time to find stuff so I printed a few sections. I plan on printing the whole thing just in stages then put in a 3 ring binder to have in the shop.

Thanks for the support guys. I was getting frustrated and had to vent before I blew a gasket.

Thanks again Steve

I was excited to get my 68 GTO manual from Detroit Iron. But it was missing LOTS of stuff specific to 1968, and had things indexed incorrectly. I hounded them for about 2 months and finally got a new copy with the index issue fixed. But it STILL is missing a lot of 68 specific stuff. Things like the dash assembly on the CD show one from a 1970 or 1974 and saw "Typical". I would NEVER buy one again for any vehicle!!

Kudos to detroit Iron tech guys!
I have had problems with this product but was unabl to get tech support. Got it today from them via phone. I had downloaded a patch but couldnt get it to work. After getting frustrated me being mildly wetarded.
I tried there tech linegot through and got help! This guy was patient and very helpful!
I opened this manual with the update installed and can now find all kinds of info I had been looking for.
Now that it works properly I am very satisfied with this product. Tech guy explained only some systems need this update patch.

Any way I am happy now. thanks

I have a '68 and '69 CD. They are the same (at least to me). When I got my '69 and as BuzzoJoe points out, also saw it was missing info (seems catered to '70 and up) I got the '68 only to see that there is nothing different from the '69 CD.

I dont think it is Detroit Iron, perhaps GM more like since it is their original manuals, but the information presented in the '69 CD specifically for the '69 GTO is limited. Helpful, but limited.
