Is it possible that Pontiac made a 1970 - 1972 A-body style fender with the 1972 GTO style extractors behind the wheel well but designed for use with the chrome bumper and valance?

Rob,
Only the '72 Endura nosed A-bodies received the fender vents. Lot of folks like the vents so pronto, a person with decent fabrication skills installed the '72 fender vent into a non endura fender...have seen this quite a few times. BTW, was e-mailed the topic number on CP & the picture link, & the fender appears to be a '72 Lux Lemans version from evidence of the molding below the marker lense. There would be a molding running horozontally in the fender vent area as well, but stud type attachments have prob been removed, when fender was prepared for fender vent. If done really well, one would need to strip fender to bare metal to see previous mods.
