They flow well.
Assuming a combustion chamber volume of around 72cc and a 0 deck height, CR will be around 10.25:1.

i think they are like 10.25:1 compression on a 400, i run them on my 455 with sunk top pistons, from what i understand all the d-ports run pretty close on the flow #'s but i'm sure someone will know alittle more about them than i know
i know they are good 4 barrel heads with 2.11 1.77's and have screwing studs and work will on my motor with a little home porting! [ August 01, 2002, 08:52 PM: Message edited by: 78lemans ] |

My 62s cc'd 75cc and others have posted the same so use that in you calculations. They are a pretty decent flowing D port head.

My 400 is bored 60 over and I have the 75cc 62 heads from a 428 I believe. the CR calced out to about 9.5 to 1. Runs great on 93 or 94 octane pump gas.

A +.060 400 with 75cc heads will be at least 10.2 comp.

Depending on deck height and gasket thickness it could be less. |
