I bought a RAIV cam from them about 4 years ago. I think it was around $65. The cam came with nothing but the cam, no spec card, no nothing. Now I realize that the specs for a RAIV cam are widely known, but how hard is it to throw a spec card in the box? Also, the guy on the phone seemed to lack people skills.

The cam was probably a Melling SPC-8. That's not a clone, but the "real deal", as Melling was the vendor. They (Melling cams) don't come with a card.
To say that Ray is lacking in people skills is a very kind way to put it...(:-

Hated to find this out this year. Had been out of racing for a couple years now and when the bug hit me, the first number I called was Ray's. Have hated this build up to some extent, as I always enjoyed working with them, and rarely bought anything unless it was through them. I must have been lucky as Ray was always quick to help me with odd questions or specs, and always had a helpful sugestion or 2. Learned ALOT from him/them.

I made one call to them about 5 years ago, got the same thing. I never called them back, sourced all of my parts via different vendors.
