I recently acquired a '67 Grand Prix which had sat for 17 years in the garage of the widow who got it for a Valentine's Day present in 1967. (The whole story is posted in Best Pontiac Stories, "In the garage since 1985".)
The build sheet was still snapped between the springs and frame of the rear seat back cushion. Following, for whatever interest they might hold, are the codes for the options installed on this car. A02 TINTED WINDSHD A31 PWR WINDOWS A51 STRATO BK ST B18 MLDG-ROOF RL B24 MLDG W/S GARN B25 MLDG B/W GARN B69 INSUL - ROOF B70 INST PNL PAD B73 INSUL SHD PNL B80 ROOF DRIP MLD C08 BLK VINY TOP D33 O/S REM RV MR D34 VISOR VAN MIR D55 CONSOLE J50 PWR BRAKES (Disc in front, master cylinder code KT) K45 HD AIR CLNR (Chrome cover) L77 ENG 4BBL PREM (428, 360HP) M40 TURBO-HYDRA N10 DUAL EXHAUST N30 DLX STEER WHL N33 TILT STRG WHL N40 PWR STEERING P01 DLX WHL DISCS P26 TIRE STD T58 REAR FEN SKRT U35 ELEC CLOCK U63 SUPR DLX RAD (AM/FM with rotating dial) U80 RR SEAT SPKR (Separa-Phonic system with fader switch mounted on upper edge of dash above speedometer and beside power antenna switch) Y05 FLR PAN DEADN Y96 FIRM RIDE GRP (Front spring ZK, rear spring XZ, front shock EX, rear shock GN, stabilizer bar AY) 900 DEL SD STRIPE (This notes the deletion of a side stripe; I don't know of a color that would look good on a black over maroon car.) The OEM tires are identified thusly. 855X14R 2/4W. There is no mention on the build sheet of the Safe Guard speedometer or the power radio antenna. The dealer to whom this car, built in Kansas City, KS, was shipped does not appear on the fine reference map of Pontiac dealers appearing at http://www.ultimategto.com, but is identifed following. Zone 25, Dealer 287, Class B Meadows Pontiac 2705 N E Sandy Bl Portland, Ore I'm going to have this build sheet laminated for display with the car whenever I refurbish the dead paint and typical rust around rear wheel openings.
