I hate to do this, it's certainly not my stlye. I feel I have to give fair warning about the folowing person:
Mike Dowling
111 Glenn St
Zebulon, NC
I ordered a fender spoiler, seat belt retractor with belt, and shaker seal from him in April. I received it and noted that the seal was for a 70-76 shaker, my car is a 79. Also the sealt belt was black as requested, but was originally red, and recently sprayed, it smelled like solvent. the belt stitching at the anchor was separated, and the unit would not unreel, since the fresh paint dried in the retractor, essentiall sticking the belts together. Either way it was unusable and unsafe. I contacted Mike, he requested the parts returned and offered refund of the purchase prices. I paid shipping both ways. He got the parts on 5/2/02, via UPS, tracking number 1Z170X300313578888. I have no refund yet.

Issue Resolved. This was taken care of to my full satisfaction. I have also been told that this is unusual for Mike by other customers. In the end Mr. Dowling kept his word.

More to the story...I got his check back from my bank today, RETURNED FOR INSUFFICIENT FUNDS. I got charged an $8 fee, and lost the refund. Does this seem to you that this guy is obviously a crook and you are crazy to buy from him? I got a number of replies to my email from other people taken by the guy. I also have his BAD check in my hand with the bank letter.

I can't believe a guy would try so hard to screw someone out of $25 after the JUNK he sent that he calls parts were returned to him. Remember I paid shipping both ways. You must really be careful dealing with him. Based on my experience avoid him at all costs. Seems to me parts are junk, and he's out to put it to you. Buy at your own risk.

Unbelievable to me how low some people will sink trying to make a buck. Painting the seat belts was definetly crooked. Bouncing a check for $25 should tell you what kind of person you are dealing with. Email him once tell him to send you a money order including the bank fee by X date or you will turn it over to the DA in his state and then do it. You may not get any money back so write it off as stolen as thats what it is. Treat people honestly as you would like to be treated and you can and will make money. Screw some unsuspecting souls out of their hard earned money and you will go out of business.

Sounds like the case is closed, however if you need any further assistance please let me know. I only live about 20 miles from Zebulon. There should be no mercy on bad suppliers!!

Case is closed. Mr Dowling need not be contacted. In the end he has paid what was owed.
