Finished up the tune on my car today and was getting ready to install a new set of wires. (These are correct reproduction date coded noise suppression wires) Just for the heck of it, I ohm'd out the old wires - around 1K ohm each. Then I checked the new ones - around 14K ohm each!!! WTF?
I'm running the stock points system. What should I look for regarding resistance? (The wires on my Hawk are around 150 ohms!?) Thanks! Mark T 1974 White Super Duty Trans Am ----------------------------- 1999 Red TA FireHawk #397 2002 Best: 11.68@116 NA (10.7@127 on the Juice!)
