Hi,

I recently bought two timing chain covers and would like to know what their orinigal applications were for. The numbers are - 9773371 and 9796346. The 9773371, I think is for a '66 or '67, it has a point instead of the hash marks for timing. The 9796346 has hash marks. Any help identifying what year engines these covers will fit would be much appreciated.

Dan, the 371 cover is for the 64-65 engines, the 346 cover is for the 68 engines. They both should have the 8 bolt water pump. The 69 and up covers used the 11 bolt water pump. [img]tongue.gif[/img]
