Ok, I've got another question for you guys. I have two brackets holding my alternator - one attached to the thermostat housing bolt and one attached two a water pump bolt. I want to remove the one attached to the thermostat housing. Is the one bracket sufficient to hold the alternator firm or do I need both?

ive got both brackets, ive seen pics of a few engines with only the one on the waterpump, so it must be ok? Im keeping both on mine, no reason to take it off.
