Hi!
I am new to this forum and have a question. I recently purchased a 1986 Grand Prix 2+2. It has the Rally II wheels that are painted the reverse of the older, classic style, i.e. the wheel is light with dark painted spoke inserts instead of gray with silver painted spoke inserts. My question is, are the colrs the same charcoal gray and argent silver as the older wheels?

Welcome aboard!
The mid '85 or so 15" Firebird Rally II wheels & the '86 GP 2+2 both used the reverse color scheme on their slightly different Rally II wheels. The charcoal gray was of a much darker shade than the Rally II wheels used in the 60's & 70's. Not sure on the exact paint mix. I would consult an 86 Pontiac Service Manual for the paint codes. If not there, you will need the factory refinishing bulletin for '86. A rabid '86 2+2 collector should have both. [This message has been edited by 'ol Pinion head (edited 07-23-2001).]
