Anybody know what size the rears were in 67 catilina wagons. I know I have a 10 bolt 2.73
but not the size(8.2, 8.5?) I've been told that GM put weird size gears in the wagons and police cars ect... Something like a 8.7 or 8.8??? This weekend I hope to have time to pull the cover off and find out whats going on but until then I was just wondering if you all have any info about this.

Pontiac put 8 7/8 inch rear ends in the 65-70 full size cars. Although it is a 10 bolt, the carrier is a 31 spline 12 bolt. A traditional 12 bolt has 30 splines so it will not work. The 3.08 and lower gears and posi units are rare.
