Does anyone have a picture the horn botton from the very very rare 1969 TA Formula steering wheel?? This is the formula wheel not the wood or sport wheel.
Thanks

Not a Pic but... It has a 69 style bird in the center (Wings Down). The one I've seen in some Pic's shows a smaller center, thats not correct...

I'd love it if someone would repop the button but i don't think it's very likely. If I am to seriously consider making one myself, I need to get a good sample to use as a baseline. I've never seen a button on e-bay or anywhere else so the next best thing is to try and find pictures. The dimensions for the bird are scaleable but I have to have the scaling factor. In addition, I need to see how the bird is detailed and secured to the backing plate.

I've too have seen one horn button that had the smaller bird in the center. That ones easy to make. Buy a horn button and a 69 automatic shift knob button insert, you can drill a 1.25 inch hole in the button foam and a smaller clearance hole in the steel backing plate. Insert the shift knob button insert and you've got a pretty nice horn button.
Unfortunately this isn't even close to production.

I've seen two correct horn buttons, I'll check and see if my friend still has his...

I've been bugging CCASS for a while but he isn't biting. I was affraid of something like a 1000 piece minimum. You have to have at least that many to amoritize the tooling cost down to an appropriate level. I'd love to get a picture of the horn button if possible. Thanks.
