I bought a complete subframe from Martz Chassis for my son's 67 Firebird. When the first one arrived, the components appeared to be top quality and the welds were excellent, but I was really disappointed with the alignment of the welded components and the main rails were twisted at the
offset. After I sent an email and pictures, Martz agreed to replace the
entire unit.

The next unit arrived a few weeks later with straight main rails but
still disappointing alignment of the brackets and such. Fisher Body specified frame dimensions to a precision of 1/16". If my subframe is any indication, Martz Chassis thinks a precision of 1/2" is acceptable. It appears that if I want a reasonably straight frame, I'm going to tweak it some, maybe cut and reweld some brackets.
