ordered dash pad #pd85104 from original parts group for 67 gto. ad says "identical in grain and texture to originals" am VERY DISSAPOINTED WITH THIS. Grain is not even close to original and the fit is horrible. I have bought many parts from them with great results so this was a huge shock to me when I opened the box, since they will not accept any returns/exchanges past 30 days I am stuck with it [I guess I got confused with year one, who knows the parts don't always get installed right away, and will accept returns whenever you are dissatisfied with their products]
To make matters worse I had also ordered a top boot that will not fit[see post in 67 forum]
I might as well add that I had the convertable top that I also got from them professionally installed and he noted the material was cut to short from side to side before it was seamed and would not come down enough to cover the top bars, so with windows all the way up there is 3/8 of an inch opening for water to soak the new interior every time I wash it. Oh well, maybe that sagging mismatched dash pad would look better wet!!!!!! As stated before I have spent thousands of $ with them and only the vinyl products dissapoint me. Anyone else notice this or did I just get lucky enough to get shipped the only three crappy parts they had?
