I have 1989 Firebird 2.8. I've been having problems for about a month now starting it. Sometimes when I try to start the car all of the dash lights come on, but the engine wont even try to crank. If I leave it sitting for about 30 minutes or so It'll start right up. I recentlly broke my key in half and had to replace the ignition. The new one they gave me didn't have a chip on the key. After we replaced the ingnition switch in the car it won't start at all now. I'm lost on what to do or what it could be. If someone can help me out I would really appreciate it. I've been without a car for about a week. Thanks Jay999
