I just wanted to let everyone know about my experience with Firebirdcrazy (Larry) I had agreed to buy some windshield trim for my 69. Before I sent the money off my wife and kid were in a very bad car accident (all recovering now) I emailed Larry to let him know and he understood. It was over three weeks before I returned home and sent off his money....Larry, it is on the way. During that time he advertised more parts on this board but specifically stated the trim was sold. He had received no money from me...just my word. It may only be a small part but I really appreciated being able to business like this at a bad time. He has lots of parts for sale on this board. DO NOT HESITATE to do business with him! BTW, I never met him or heard of him before this transaction. Thanks Mike (bjsgoat)

That 4 spd guy is me, and I second what bjsgoat says. firebirdcrazy1959 could have easily said that he would sell it to someone else that could come up with the cash sooner, but he assured me that it was mine. He didn't harrass for the money or anything.

Excellent enthusiest to deal with and is sure doing his part to make sure the guys that need his parts get them!

Thanks Larry!

I've delt with Larry myself. Even though our first transaction didn't go smoothly he stayed true to his word and followed thru.

You got to admire that in the age of the internet.

BTW: The money and crankscraper are on their way for that rim. Sent last week.

And I know it might take longer then 2 weeks to get this transaction done with UPS day a state shipping and post office more then 3 days to sentd a letter. Not a problem. LOL.

I must agree with everyone else. I sent payment on Monday, the part was at my house that Friday.

I wish he had more parts that I need!

I responded that I would purchase some center caps, he said OK. Unfortunately, the next day he said he had screwed up and had already sold the caps. But he said he would look for more at the events he was going to. Sure enough, he contacted me 1 week later that he had found 3 caps for me. Now how many people would look for stuff for a stranger? IMHO, Larry's one of a kind. A GREAT GUY to deal with.

I have to agree as well, I sent Larry a money order for a NOS tie rods and they were exactly as advertised.
I just sent him another check today for more NOS tie rods, ball joints and other suspension pieces and look forward to recieving my parts.
He is great to deal with.

Larry,

Thanks for helping me out in a jam. The least I can do is pay the cost of shipping.

Regards,

I also agree!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great, easy going guy to deal with. I contacted him about a 12-bolt that was posted months before. I contacted him and set up to drive out and pick-up.

Exactly what he stated and hooked me up on the price as well!

Thanks again for the deal!

Adam
