Rumor has it that the largest cfm quadrajets come on '71 Buick 455 motors, such as are found in LeSabres or 225's. Is this true? I'm goin' junkyardin' tomorrow. I need a straight inlet model, and I've heard these Buicks are 850 cfm.
All help appreciated, Double |

Nope , biggest were just 800cfm, but yes there were some of these on Buicks too. To tell 750 from 800s look down primary bore. If you see a slight bulge off to one side its an 800.
