i WANT TO KEEP SHIFT LEVER IN MY 66 GTO,but I have installed a TH350. I know a kit is available, but isn,t it possible to rework (file?)the 2-speed shifter notches?

Our board host (Performance Years) has a conversion kit made specifically for what you are doing. Part #RPU323. You will also need a different cable, part #RPU323C. You will be glad you used the kit every time you shift, try to start the car, or back up.
