I have picked up my 70 lemans and i'm really happy with it, but i'm really not liking the frame.35 year old Canadian it's stronge but it's starting to flake.I have found a west coast frame with disk and everything that is mint.I just want to make sure that it's the right swap being that it's a 71 frame. Thanks again Darren

I'm fairly certain the two frames are interchangeable.

I'm pretty sure they would be the same frame.
Don't forget yours has chebby mounts on the frame.
If you found a US car it will have Pontiac mounts. You will need to change your engine mounts on the frame. you might need to drill a few holes to do that, I have never looked at a Can. Pontiac to see the set up.

Canadian Pontiac for '70 may have either engine. If built in Canada appears to have chev engine if built in US and sold in Canada probably Pontiac. Who knows as '70 was the watershed year that changed from chev to Pontiac engines in cars sold in Canada.

In face most '68-'72 GM 2 dr A body frames should interchange. Convertibles were heaver frames is all.
