I have 66 gto . It runs good. I have noticedthat it is starting to smoke from the pass. side. When it is idleing you can see it from both sides. It does not use any oil and the coolant is fine. It smells like raw gas . I have adjusted the center carb and it still does the same thing. If I turn the screws in to far it will not idle unless I keep my foot on the pedal and make it run. I am not sure what would cause this any info would be great.

have you checked the float levels? it sounds like you have one that is starting to sink. it could also be a well plug that is ,but a float sounds more likely. mike

If the smoke is blue-black and the inside tip of the exhaust pipie is greasy, then it's oil. If the smoke is black and the inside tip has a black powdery deposit (line lamp black), then its running much to rich (line Mike said).
