Does anyone have pics of a 67-69 firebird with any style of 3rd or 4th gen f-body wheels? I'm looking to upgrade and I'd like to see what they look like with the newer wheels. Also, if you could include how much spacer thickness was required, I would appreciate it. If you don't want to post the pics on the forum feel free to email me at [email protected].
Thanks everyone. Bob

16x8 3rdgen
225/50/16 front. BS listed as 4.33" 255/50/16 rear. BS listed as 5" Rear tires kissed a bit on the inside sometimes. Thinner tires might have fixed that. I cut out a pair of old drum faces as spacers. I guess them to be 1/16-1/8" thick. It only kissed when heading uphill into a driveway. I also flattened the tailpipes around the tires.

No I don't think so. Just the backspacing.
Thanks

Mine are 5x4.75
I was told they came from a mid 80s Formula. GTA wheels and IROC wheels should measure the same for the 3rdgen as the ones on mine in the pic.

Did you do anything with the lug nuts / studs? I know that the newer wheels are mounted with metric and some of those have a different bevel on the nut / wheel. Had any problems with nuts backing off or anything if you didn't change the studs?
