Is there much or any benefit to a beehive springs for low RPM motors (less than 6000 RPM's) or where does the full benefit come from these springs?

The beehives really excel in hydraulic roller applications, at ALL rpms.

There is not great deal of data about performance with hydraulic flat cams.

I think they're very interesting, haven't found anyone complain about them at all. I've only seen one slow motion video of std spring and they bounce with every closing of valve, higer the rpm the more the bounce. Little more room for rockersarms too with the small retainers.

Much of the LS1 stuff looks like it will fit Pontiac installed heights, I do expect to see them become a common add on with our street engine builds.

comp cams has a new line of beehive springs, one p/n 26995 looks like a beehive version of their 995 spring...

That would be worth looking at as the 995 is a very good spring for street pontiacs and a beehive would be better.
