Default Adapting Fan Shroud from a 64 Catalina

Is it possible to adapt a full-size metal fan shroud from a 63-64 389 Catalina to a 65 GTO 389 tri-power? I have not found any discussion in the forums that addresses this issue.

I've seen it done, and I don't think it is that hard a job, but I forget exactly what the differences are.

I am interested in that swap too as I have a full sized steel shroud somewhere. LOL!

I think it would require making templates of the "A" body shroud and then comparing them to the fullsize part.

On my last aquisition. I got the correct fan shroud with it, that was not installed. I'll take some pics, and make some measurements.
After that we can compare to the full size and figure out what is needed to be cut etc.
