Default New to the site, but long time Pontiac owner!

Thought I'd make my introductions in this forum, as I'm sure this is the one I'll be spending most of my time on.

I have been a member of TAC for some time now, and have seen others from there refer to this site, it's just taken me some time to get registered over here.

I'm also a Globlal Moderator at Firebird Nation, and really enjoy my time there, also.

My background is mostly in painting , as I have been painting one thing or another since 1982.
From the time served in the Air Force painting fighter jets, to Caterpiller painting new equipment coming of the line, to a couple of different body shops I've worked at, I can paint about anything.

I do all my own complete resto work, and of course, I have repainted both of my Trans Ams.

I've been reading through some of the old threads here, and see that alot of the things I've done to my car, is being done by alot of you folks.
But there is always more to do, and my main interest is going to be related to the engine and transmission, as my current plans call for some early 350 heads and cam swap, along with a 200-4R, and 3:73 rear.

I look forward to being here and learning what I can.
Here's a couple of shots of my cars.

Leon.

to the forum Leon. Nice looking Pontiacs! Especialy the white T/A!

I take it from your signature photo that you are or were a USAF man. I served in the USAF also from 1986-1990. Again, welcome and enjoy.

John

Yeah Dave, I know Al, I painted cars for him a few years ago.
Nice to run into someone close by on these boards, that don't happen to often.

You got a picture of you T/A? Maybe I've seen it!

Leon.

Leon, I probably met you already. I used to buy all my fuel for my open drag sled and gokarts from Al. I had the burgandy 79 ta. It's stripped down now, going for a total rebuild. Another guy I know,Randy Jacobsen. Lived three blocks from Als shop. We used his dyno when we raced gokarts. I'll email you some pics of the ta when it was in one piece. Dave
