I tried to email Bob Cacciotti today to find out about the Aluminum freeze plug/install kit for my IA-2 today and I get an automated form to fill out and if its approved he'll read my email!!!!!!! Im very disappointed. You can bet if this would have happened when I bought the block I would have bought from Kauffman he has never returned any of my emails and has always gotten back to me in a timely manor. Nice job BOB keep up the good work!

Tiacguy, Sorry about the spam filter. We get hammered sometimes with spam. Earthlink has a filter that keeps automated spam from getting thru. It does not mean that I did not see the e-mail.

Yes we have the Aluminum plugs in stock.

Can you clarify this statement? It doesn't make any sense. How can Kauffman get back to you in a "timely manor" (sic) if he has never returned any of your emails?

I have had the opposite experience with All Pontiac. I posted on here one time about needing a Pontiac torque plate and Bob e-mailed me and let me use one for free! That is Pontiac people helping Pontiac people! If I ever am in the market for a block or anything that AP has I will definitely try to return the favor.

Their reputation speaks volumes. Sorry you have a bad experience tiacguy. Give 'em another chance. We gotta try and stick together. :)

Well Brian I guess you had to be there . I will clarify it for you personally Brian When I said Kauffman never returned any of my emails. It means they were never returned by there system meaning they werent being sent to a third party to be screened. I promise to word things a little different now that I know your paying attention. Or are you? Just to set the record straight Bob did get back to me and explained the situation and for that I say thank you Bob. Ill be in touch Scott.

Default Spam Filters

Spam Fillters is one of those neccesary evils of today. It is like the security at the airport, if you will. I deal with a lot of people by e-mail and I think it is just one of those things we have to live with. Many businesses will not even accept attachments for fear of a virus or worm. This is all the terrorists and hackers fault. Have a good day.

Damn! I can understand being a little upset with any delay, but I can't see starting a thread like this unless it had been at least a couple days with no response.

over a year ago, i called for some info on valve lengths. you were nice enough to give me a number of your head man, that had the info.

did you call me for some reason later? i don't recall.

and later on, you PM me for the purpose of, you sending a partial head for porting/testing.

i have since emailed a couple of times, with address to send head to, and no response.......

if there were anymore contacts, i can blame it on a senior moment......he he

I think this section is only to be used when every last effort was made to make some type of compromise, and nothing is resolved.

Robert C and all;
From personal experience and my mother's continuing bad experiences with Earthlink and their so called "Spam Filters" it is time you dumped Earthlink and their close to con-artist ads for their "state of the art spam filters". I changed to Bellsouth.net and have had no problems whatsoever for 2 years, whereas my mother is at the point she has to block all email addresses except the ones she knows. But she won't change since Earthlink used to be Mindspring that was a local Atlanta company. Great job Earthlink!!

I would like to change it too. But I have change the address and it will be a pain in the Butt. All e-mail address can have the same problem.

Spam sucks.

In one way it stop a spamer dead cold. I see All e-mails sent to me, but can see the e-mail before it can get in to my computer. If it is spam I can delete it.

I have never had a problem getting a e-mail from any customer.

I am sorry if I have offended anyone with this filter,
