Default USAParts Supply - Sucks!

fyi, last week I ordered some A/C parts from USAPartsSupply(.com). The order total came to something like 225.00. I used their on-line order form. It never sent me any kind of order confirmation, with any $$$ amounts listed.

Then I get a $550 charge to my credit card.

When I call them, they say "What catalogs did you use? - Oh, our catalogs on the internet are more than two years old"

So they just automatically more than doubled the prices - without calling me to confirm?

Are they nuts?

So, I'll be immediately rejecting the order when it arrives...

How much you wanna bet they still try to charge me for shipping? (and I've got some kind of oversize shipping charge - after already paying $27 for shipping - of course, I don't know how much of that $550 is extra shipping - since they never provided any detail on that!)

In order to refuse delivery Via UPS or FED EX, you will have to be present to refuse it. Otherwise they will just drop it off. Make sure that you check on line to verify that USA has recieved it back. UPS will use the same tracking number for returns.

You will also need documentation to prove your online order and the amount. That way your credit card company has reason to justify reversing the charge.

For the record..I have used USA in the past without incidence. They were based about 15 miles from my house in Manassas, VA. They have recently moved to West Virginia outside of Charlestown. Maybe there is more to the story than just the move. You are right however about them not being responcable enough to notify you of the online price change..Very deceptive way of doing business.

Best of luck.
