Seat belt question
I'm installing the interior on my 71 goat. I just realized that although there are shoulder harnesses, there's no place to buckle them. The female lap buckle can only accommodate one belt. What was the point in originally installing the shoulder harnesses? Was the intent to allow for the passenger and driver to choose either the lap belt or the shoulder belt or am I missing something - both figuratively and literally?

 to the Forums Glen.Apparently you are missing the SECOND inner buckle that is used for the shoulder harness. It was somewhat common to remove the shoulder harness from the headliner and the second belt to "clean up" the interior as I have done on my 68 GP. Both inner belts fit on a slightly longer shouldered bolt screwed into the trans tunnel. Les
