I've been looking around at the various aftermarket air conditioning systems. I know I'm definately going with one, but which one I'm still undecided.

Currently my body is still at the bodyshop just getting the finishing patching and smoothing out of the new sheetmetal. I know it's probably a good idea to have any firewall modifications done to it now, that way I don't have to cut into a freshly painted firewall when I get it back!

My biggie is what system out there has THE MOST MINIMAL FIREWALL MODIFICATIONS AND CAN BE DONE IN THE GARAGE WITH SIMPLE HAND TOOLS?? I do not have a welder at home, nor do I know or feel comfortable about welding at this time.

Basically I need to know what is offered that I can basically "plug and play." I am open to MINOR firewall modifications, such as adding in the ac ports...but that's all.

The other biggie is I've got a custom dash, and I did away with the factory controls. This means I'll have to run a completely electrically operated setup, which will go in with the console controls inside the console glovebox I made. What's a good electrically operated system that has universal plug and play??

I need to know all of the above as soon as possible, as I'll be purchasing probably within the next couple of weeks. Also, if I go with a particular system...please list out any firewall mods (I really want to do as little as possible due to my still coming up deadline) or similar.

Vintage Air Supercooler 2. I have exactly 2 extra holes in my firewall after install. I even left the blower case on the underhood side so I wouldn't have to fill the firewall hole, plus, I can put it back to stock if I want.....
