maybe an admin can help with an IP address, and/or alert some authorities?

if he is logging on, then he should be responding.

tom , I was waiting for LASjawhawk to sent me payment for some door hinges he wanted. Never got payment or any PM from him. Hope it works out for you. Maybe a phone call will get through. Someone must be in the Las Vegas area to look up his number. You already have his address for sending the payment.

From his previous posts he seems to be a really honest Pontiac hobbiest so maybe something unfortunate came up and that's why he can not contact you. Life Happens!

Didn't he recently start a thread asking the pros and cons of moving to Amarillo? Maybe he's in the middle of moving...

He actually came up to Seattle and helped me install a rear end in my car while he was going for some business extra schooling. Something about aircraft electronics. Seemed like a nice guy. He said he sold his place in Vegas and was renting to cash in on the real estate market. He has like 5 Darksider cars. I would give him a few more weeks as if he did just move it may take time to get back on line. Has the check been cashed?

yep, sometimes the thing that you missed out on sucks worse than losing the money.

one of the few bad experiences i've had on ebay involved a vintage minibike wheel i needed to complete a set. looks like an American racing torque thrust wheel, and very hard to find.

lost $27, and it supposedly got lost in shipping....either way, i really needed the wheel....was worth much more to me than the cash involved.

Tom,

If you sent a check maybe he's just waiting to make sure it cleared??? Just food for thought...

LASjayhawk seems to be a good guy. I'd guess that he'll do the right. I'd bet he is not a crook, but only tied up with moving or some personal problem. You might mail him a letter reminding him, return receipt asking for forwarding address.
