Default Buyer beware- [email protected] is a thief

I put a deposit on a car last week and went to get it but was not satisfied after a very through inspection. I went there in person and after he got upset that I would not buy the car now he won't give me back my $200. That is sad, what is this world coming to?

Did you know this going into the deal? Must of been more wrong with the car than meets the eye for someone to do something like that. Sounds like a cheby person not a Pontiac guy.

Need more details about the deal. Was this an Ebay transaction? Was it a 'non refundable' deposit? Did he have other buyers that he lost while holding the car for you? I've been on both sides of this, that's why I don't like deposits. I prefer never to make a commitment without the inspection FIRST!

Did He tell you the $200 dollar deposit was non refundable?, alot of people will take/send money to "hold" a car, with the stipulation that if the "deal" doesn't happen, you lose your deposit!, but it needs to be made clear to the buyer if this is how you operate!

I filed a claim through paypal and he did not dispute, my money was refunded.
****Lesson learned!***
It was not through ebay, on here only.
