Does anyone know or have seen the WW5 RPO on any 1979 TA's. It's on my broadcast sheet. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks. |

UPC Code WW5 was the code used for early production Trans Ams built at Norwood OH assembly without lower center front air dam. Reason was due to a supplier shortage and effected only Norwood OH cars. With production beginning on approx 10/10/78 the center air dam was deleted on all Trans Ams with the exception of the black and gold Y84 cars. All cars produced starting approx Nov 1 1978 came with the air dams.
Pontiac shipped the air dams approx mid-Nov to the dealers involved who recieved cars with out the air dams. All air dams were color coated so no painting was involved. Hope this helps
