What i am trying to find out is what size my honeycomb wheels were from the factory build sheet. all it says it was ordered with honeycomb wls code 478, but my car never had the proper wheels on it when i bought it. Mine is a 72 formula 400. I presume they were 15" and not 14". I have managed to find a set of 15" honeycombs so will be using them. What car came with 14" ? any info would be great..

Your link is to a dealer invoice, not a build sheet. People often confuse the two. The info you are looking for would be on your factory build sheet. Unfortunately most people don't have a copy of them.

Very nicely optioned Formula 400, but that car was originally equipped with 14" Honeycomb wheels.
The 15" wheels were available only (and included) with the Formula Handling Package option (UPC code 332, RPO code Y99). The package included the complete Trans Am suspension. Different from the standard Formula suspension were: the rear springs, front and rear shocks, 1 1/4" front and 7/8" rear sway bars, 15" wheels and F60 tires. By the way, what you have on your web site is NOT the build sheet, but rather the invoice. Great info on an invoice, but it only indicates extra-cost options. Hope this helps!

Thanks a million guys. I always had my doubts about 15" wheels but wasn't sure. What you said makes sense. I will have to keep my eyes open for a set of 14"s..Wish i had the build sheet as it sounds like it holds all the info. Yes, looks like the person who ordered the car ticked most of the boxs..Just reuilding the engine at the moment and its still on standard bore but found it had a 1966 389 arma steel crank inside..Good crank so im told..

That would be the molding that goes across the rear edge of the bonnet and along the top of the doors.

Not sure what mats but the FL-RR is rear and FL-FRT is front floor mats. My '72 Formula 350 came with the 15" Honeycombs because of the Handling package option.

Belt isn't short for anything. On this side of the pond it refers to the top of the door. It's called the beltline.

Thanks Bob, never heard it called that before. I think i have an idea now what all the options ordered are now..To tell you truth, i thought the custom trim option included the trim on the hood and the top of the doors..
