Default 58-62? upper control arm shaft quesion

Just received a supposedly NOS pair of Moog upper control arm shafts---bought on e-bay. I decided to trial hand-thread the bushings onto the shafts and found that a couple of the bushings thread on all the way by hand, but a couple of the others do not depending on which shaft thread they are tried on. Did I get taken here, or is this "normal"? I haven't tried to use a wrench to see if they will go all the way with a little "help". Also, I haven't tried to clean up the shaft threads with solvent or wire brush. Just wondering what other experiences have been. Thx for any feedback!

In my experience they should screw on by hand without any major resistance. Make sure they're clean, with no rust or battered threads, and put some grease on them.

Thx for the replies. There are no LH threads----the bushings screw on OK part way and then get too tight to continue by hand (on a couple). I'm taking them to work with me tomorrow and will give the shaft threads a good cleaning----then see how things go.
