What's the best car cover?Car is completed!
Hello Friends,
Which car cover would you recommend? My frame off restoration is now complete thanks to you gentlemen. Check out the pic below!  You guys have been so kind to respond to all of my mechanical and electrical questions.I plan to ALWAYS garage my '69 Lemans in sunny hot and humid southwest Florida. Which car cover is best for a 2-door hartop 1969 Lemans? |

I have heard great things about these:
http://www.calcarcover.com/how_to_select.aspx Have never used one though, you'll need a breathable one to cover up indoors. Congrats on your resto, she looks like a beauty. |

I would go with an unlined cotton car cover. The material is
kind of like that of a cotton t-shirt. They are easy to wash in your home washer and drier and breathe and will keep your car spotlessly clean and they are not expensive. If you need thicker protection on the front or rear on one side from people walking by it in the garage, throw a blanket or comforter over the top of the car cover in the areas you think needs thick protection. |

Joyfulsoul, great job on the Lemans!! Looks like you went w/ cragers too? Love those rims, they were the first muscle car rims I bought years ago for my grand prix LJ.

Car looks great - I like the Cali covers too, I use the Plush weave ones - like putting a flannel t-shirt on the car.

I use the top of the line California Car cover when I stored my '69 outside, and do the same for my '64 post. It is a $350 cover, but worth every penny. The other 2 GTOs inside have the cotton california car cover that is made for indoor use, and is about half the price.
