noschevparts E-bay Rip off
I cant believe it I got a carb from E-bay (Tomco rebuild) I knew that it would need some work. Guy said it was a 7043266 quadrajet. I got it and it was a 7044268. The box said it was a 7043266 but it was not. I contacted the guy and he called me a liar. Said they never had a 7044268. and that I was lying and he could not do anything about it. So I took another carb i got ripped off for on E-Bay used the base from this carb on that body 7043266 and was able to make a good workable quadrajet. The other carb had a early model 1970 base. The sad part about E-Bay is that when you leave negative feed back on this person they will retaliate and do the same to you even though you did nothing wrong. Spoke to the owner on the phone tonight said he is sending me a rebuildable 7043262 carb for free to make up for the other carb. I think he didnt know the wrong # carb was in the box marked 7043266. Im satisfied with that. Left him OK feedback.
