I am trying to figure which engine this car, and if it actaully has the rated HP that is posted. Here is a link to the car with the engine in it, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...9245585&rd=1,1
Here is a link to the block that I found on ebay, this is not rebuilt like the one in my car: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1977-...0Q3aRECOQ3aBIN Also since I am most likely going to build this into a track car, I am trying to figure out if this block has the thin webs like all the other Pontiac Blocks from the late 70's. Thanks. |

dated 77, block # 500577,y4 samped on front. I know the 577 usually has thin webs, but the guy told me this isn't a firebird block, anyone else got info on the y4 stamp with the 500577.
