Default Compatability with different brands of Primer?

I am in the middle of restoring a 67 GTO and have used Lesonal 2k primer on the entire car. I got a real good deal on the 1st gallon. I just bought another quart and it cost almost 85 dollars. I would really like to hit the car one more time with a full coat of primer before I do the final blocking but at this point funds are running out and I cant see spending 300+ on a gallon of primer. Is it really necessary to use the same product all the way thru? I have posted on autbody.com and recieved various opinions but I would be interested to see what every one here thinks. I am considering using evercoats 2k for the final coat of primer. I have had good luck with their products and it is readily available and priced reasonably. Also it gets good recomendations from my local paint supplier. Any suggestions are appreciated.

with primer that is fully cured, I would have no problem using something else.

Default primers

Try southernpolyurethanes.com. They have a forum. If you are in a hurry call them and ask for Barry, he will probably answer the phone. He's the owner quality product at a resonable price and unmatched customer support.
Good luck.
