Default Low Mile SD on Ebay

Check this one out!

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ponti...52677771QQrdZ1

Quite the CAR!

Quite the PRICE!

I noticed a few interesting accessories.

I DO like the wheels, but the windshield washer is my favorite!

Wonder where the original oil cap & plug wires went?
Maybe it has headers?
Like to see some more engine pics.

Got lots of time to think about that price! I too like the windshield washer. How much is that picture worth to the price of the car?

That looks like a "OK honey I'll try and sell the car, but I'm not too optimistic", scenario. I'll bet the "window washer" has no clue what he is asking for it. LOL!

I'd venture a guess at Halibrand?
They were likely installed when the car was new.

Now the windshield washer system is a different story. I'd need more pics (close-ups) for a positive ID on it.

The pvc wasnt in the valve cover like it should have been. The wheels have to go. He should show us the nums. matching block. Very nice SD though. Prolly worth 110k or so. The value of these has sky rocketed since mid 90s. I bought a num matching '74 in 1998 for $2700! It sat in Hemmings for two months with no buyers till I grabbed it.

LOL!

Unfortunately, if the seller is serious about moving that car, he needs to have a 90+% off sale!

If that is the same car that was advertised a few years ago in the "cars-on-line" site, it sold for around $55K.
It was also pictured with a set of those '70's era disco "basket wire" wheels, which explains the Americans on the car now.
I should have saved the old picture of it for times like this.

Dont forget the 5/8's heater hose bushing to the sway bar/drop links...it'll do on a Y code white trash trailer park kreeper...but never in the SD "club".

I've been doing some research on the "winshield washer system" & can't find anything similar in ANY of my catalogs/manuals..

It doesn't appear to be "period correct" for a 1974 car.
My guess is it's an aftermarket unit, circa late 80's?

Wonder if it has a part # or date code on it somewhere? Perhaps the seller would know.

It probably wouldn't work very well in the winter.

I'm NOT a big fan of "aftermarket accessories",but I'd be OK with that one on MY car.

Do you think it will check the tires,as well?

I won't even get into the "checking the oil" jokes.
