I put a solid state replacement on my 64 and it drains the battery when not running. I would like to have the original rebuild but am not sure if anyone does it. Any ideas? thanks

why not buy a repop?...........I just got one from AMES complete with "Delco Remy" stamped on the cover (although the stamping is not factory correct) for $48

Thanks
I had bought a new solid state one and it discharges the battery. One of the local guys with a Chevelle said that he also bought one and had to put a cut off switch on his battery. I have tried to rebuild the original stuff when possible. I'll look at Ames and get the repop. |
